I've uploaded it here: http://www.yousendit.com/download/MnFqT ... bVdGa1E9PQ

Question:
I've ran the Blade Horror quest 4 times now (at lvl 2, lvl 7, lvl 9, and 1/2 to lvl 10). Is that supposed to happen?

Just got it twice more, though this was after I had to restart the server, and then it went all jumpy on me before the 2nd time, so these might have been due to server problems. Still, I doubt I'm supposed to be getting this quest this many times, and certainly not all the way up to lvl 10!

Hm. Either the server's having a really bad day or there's something in the questing system that's making it jumpy. I suspect the former but wouldn't rule out the latter.

The blade horrors quest isn't limited for the only reason that these quests were designed to test a variety of parameters--this quest tests both specific monster kills and overall monster kills.

Oh and yes, the server's having a pretty bad day. It's lagging like hell for me.

Good to know. It seems to be working well on that count. One thing though: I wasn't able to repeat the quest right away, but after I completed it the first couple times I got the "come back when you're stronger message." Is that supposed to happen, or should it be immediate?

I think its configured so that you can't start it again for 30 minutes after you last finished.

I reported to the recipient after time had expired. Obvious fail. But then the sender wouldn't re-offer. But when I give up the quest (either before or after the time expires), I can get the offer again. Also, if I drop the letter on the ground it has no icon. Oops.

Not sure yet: we thought we'd try it this way and see how it works. What do you think: should we add one?

Our tension against a kill counter was that it seems to make quests less engaging and more artificial. Since the point is to be able to check your quest's progress without returning to town, what about color-coding some of the text so that stuff you've done turns green (for example) and as you get closer to completing a task, it changes color.

That sounds good. Less artificial than a kill counter, but still gives the information a player needs.

Firstly update is great, this game has grown leaps and bounds since the last time i played. But, is there a way to see how many kills are left for quests?
