Spell sound effects

I think it would be cool if (just for now) to use the xen sounds for spells. I still think the old classic sound of beam sounded pretty epic as well.

Maybe for now just using certain sounds from xen and changing them later on?

Why not the same sound-feel of the xen sounds, only changed up just a little bit for a unique and new feel to the game?
