Whereabouts would I be able to sign-up for the Alpha? I noticed the sticky says the current phase is closed.

The Alpha sign up was closed due to the large amount of applicants. With the last update Karl thinned out the numbers somewhat down to active people and invited a few new people to join. This could turn into a regular thing (though I doubt every update), however if you have donated to the project I am sure Karl will add you to the testers if you contact him, don't take this as any kind of official word though.
