Wow, that's HUGE! ... Also, I can't read the file

Can you just export the geometry without textures or anything? That might be what's making it so big. Or, what might be easier, just whip up a simple pawn or knight or something in blender yourself?

Thanks for trying that out so quickly, I'm almost ready to put it in the game.

No dice. Are you doing anything different than before? It seems like you're exporting quads instead of triangles.
