Caster's Agility scaling issue.

Postby marzuku » Mon Nov 09, 2009 2:19 am

Casters have way too good an agility scaling atm, been checking them and some of them do as much as 300 dmg at lvl 25 which is sick compared to a warrior on the same level, ive been asking around though and some are keeping it a secret and others are not.

None of the high dmg casters are currently using agility points, at lvl 24 bobluie said he had 43 int and he was doing 280 damage a beam and quite fast.
I However, lvl 30 with two spectral swords and ive got a balanced spec with 37 str 27 agility i do a max damage of 240-250? not even that faster than him really.

this needs to be fixxed, they have pretty much been able to grind twice as fast as us with less effort, and the same goes with pvp if they have unlimited mana and high dmg, and speed aint stopping them.

The damage is too great for cons to matter as a stat, unless you're a Warrior. It's either you or them.

Mages get same armour as meelee. +Armour spells
To make up for the armour spells, meelee get extra HP

It should balance it out. I'd defend the need for mages to have more hp from cons if I actually believed any mage has given cons enough testing to determine how big the gap is.

Actually, if there are any adepts @ lvl 25 we can test % dif.

At lvl 25 with no gear 31 constitution 451 HP

At lvl 30 with no gear my warrior with 26 constitution has 676 HP so I am more curious than when I started typing this reply.
Do not mold yourself to society. Give your name and serial number and stand strong, and society will undoubtedly mold to you. Ask not if there is anything outside that you want. Ask if there is anything inside that you have yet to unpack.

Which is exactly why i posted the xen stats calculator, so you could see what EJ did and maybe learn from it?

1- Not related to what I posted. Why the hell did you quote me.

2- I doubt they need the actual stat calculator. Most of the equations used to make the Calculator are common knowledge.

1- You're on my poo-list because you decided to poo-talk the development of this game and give up faith on it. I'm waiting for you to keep up your word and quit the game.

2- Don't quote irrelevant posts, that is called spamming.

Sorry that you miss-read my post but I wanted the players to discover how the developers have scaled Evidyon not how Thayer scaled Xenimus.

you just fail, i didnt tell them to copy xenimus, i told them to learn from it, on your "poo list" naaaw, im happy to join all the others.

Irrelevant posting would be your personal vendetta here, not my suggestion to solve the main problem i presented in the first place.

A personal vendetta doesnt justify stupidity.
