Open up the folder. Go to Tools->Folder Options, then to the View tab. In the list box select "show hidden files and folders". 'version' will now show up in the folder. Right click it, and un-select the "hidden" property.

this is the problem i have (after i get the updates). i'm not sure if it makes a difference, but my game is not on c: drive but i haven't had any issues with this so far...

Try going into the folder where you installed Evidyon and running Evidyon.exe (instead of Evidyon_sse.exe)

Also: what is your processor?

evidyon.exe gives me the same error.
i have intel Pentium 3....

i tried re-downloading the update, reinstalling the game (before i posted the problem in the first place) so ...

i finally got the game to run but i get this on the screen

does that mean the servers are down or do i need to do something

You either need to click on the "Play Evidyon" button or if that is grayed out you need to click on the drop down list and select the URL, the game will then update and the "Play Evidyon" button will be active.

If you do this now, the next screen you will see is one with a button on it which says "Stop trying to connect" as the server is down.

when i click on the link i get this error message even though i have already unhidden the files

Go into the /Evidyon/ directory and just double-click the EXE for the game (Evidyon.exe). You should be able to run without updating.

well i hav the same problem as the guy above but i can get into the game... but i have to like scroll up and down to get my inventory to work and its rlly hard to click the scoller atm bcuz the click area of it seems to b small so i spend like 1min everytime i wanna equip something... idk if thers sumtin i can do or should i just w8 for next update?
