making Music

Postby Slayne » Thu Aug 07, 2008 4:27 pm

Ok i have been trying to follow everything that has been going on this end but I am just looking for a free software to record and edit in good quality. Also all the music files that I have browsed few are in .ogg? What program do i need for that?

I will browse the boards some more. I am sorry if these questions have already been answered but I am just trying to help out.

VLC media player should do the trick. It's free and can be found at the following location: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

For recording, GoldWave is pretty good. I don't remember if it's still free, though.
