4200+ AMD Athalon 64 X2 DUAL Core Processor
2.0 GB Ram
256 Megs Video Card

Wow!! Your systems are a whole lot more better than I was expecting. Here are the systems I have, and will be testing with:

- Lenovo T60p laptop (2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo processor, 2GB RAM, 256 MB ATI Radeon FireGL gfx)
- IBM Thinkpad T40 laptop (1.2 Ghz Intel P4, 256 MB RAM, integrated Intel graphics card)
- Some old HP laptop (1.8 GHz Intel P4, 512 RAM, integrated graphics)
- Some 3.0 GHz Intel processor tower (don't remember which one) with 2 GB RAM and a super awesome $800 1 GB on board memory ATI graphics card
- Same 3.0 GHz machine with a TNT2 graphics card (awww hell yea 1998!)

Oh and Nirvana, yes the game can be played in windowed mode. However, even in full-screen mode the game won't stretch.

The PC I'm currently on (crappy)
Windows XP (currently 32bit "black edition")
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 6400+
2046mb RAM
Geforce 7900 GS 256mb (ready for SLI but the motherboard doesn't support SLI *sigh*)

That system is not crappy... you just need to fix whatever's wrong with it. A 6400+ with 2gb of ram should run pretty damned fast. The graphics card isnt great but its better then my fx5200 and 6150 Go. And if its an SLI card then you can still go out and get a 9800 to replace it... I am stuck with AGP, so the best card i could get is the one you have, but they dont even have that anymore on newegg.

The minimum hardware requirements should be far less than that "outdated" computer, so I think he'll be fine :)

My systems (in order of performance, lol)

Xp Pro (32bit)
Intel Core Duo T2500 (2.0ghz)
1gb RAM
Xpress1200m (or something like that..) 256mb

XP home
Athlon 64 4000+ (2.4ghz)
2gb RAM
XPress200M GFX (128 mb)

(yes, that second one is faster. the first one is a total POS for some reason.)

Xp pro (x64)
Phenom 9750 (2.4ghz)
4gb RAM (256mb shared)
HD3200 (780g) gfx ("256")
It may be onboard graphics, but it still runs like a beast. (I don't play crysis, etc, obviously :p)
