If you're new, check out the basic instructions.

In this update:
  • Stats system changed! Be sure to reassign your stats--and order matters!
  • Adjusted spell damage of sorcs
  • MP regen rate changed to be what it was supposed to be...
  • Completely reworked the item subsystem. No more disappearing items, and it should be impossible to dupe an item--ever!
  • EXP sharing should work
  • Increased /join radius
  • No more getting booted out when logging into the world
  • Changed the login screen a bit

:x Server just went down, yes. Hardware, not software, so we have to wait on the damned thing. Hopefully it won't be long.

Karl, it looks like the server's having a little trouble updating itself, which might be the reason why all my characters have 10s for stats but no way of re-assigning the lost points. :)

Immediate problems:
* No way to re-assign stats.
* My char is super super fast. All my speed-boosting items have a *huge* effect.
* Every time I drop an item, or equip an item, or move an item into storage, the scroll resets to the top of the list. Very irritating.

Any recommendations? Would it be better to wait it out, or what? Oh, and when do you expect to resolve the issues?

Critical issues should be resolved in the next couple days (hopefully tomorrow, hopefully early--depends on Karl's schedule).
You can still play at the moment, but with all stats reset to 10, you'll just have to be careful.

I fell asleep last night so I didn't activate the admin command to let you reset your stats. You can do that now. Also, I'm working on fixing the speed problems...it would be nice if I had a place I could test this sort of thing. The problem is the main loop scheduler. Anywho...I'm on it!
