OK Folks I'm back!

I'm going to be attacking some bugs this afternoon, and addressing some of the littler things that have piled up. So far I've finished the following:
  • I think I fixed the BSOD bug!
  • Some sneaky memory leaks have been patched thanks to a kickass tool I found
  • There are now icons for rings, gloves and potions
  • Inventory order is now saved on log in/out. It also works like you would expect, with most recently picked up items at the end. If you click an item and it can't be equipped, it will go to the end of the list.
  • Green potions now work without having to select a target for the spell
  • I added a 'red potion'
  • All items should now stack correctly
  • -respawn underground will put you back on the main map
  • Merchant range has been increased
  • Items not showing up in the inventory should be fixed
  • "Freeze zone" should be gone
  • Collisions with objects should be more intuitive now

These fixes are definitely valuable. When the update goes up I'll update the bugs & issues list.

If you could please also increase the time on ground for items dropped on death, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just lost a Bejewled Ring and a Gold Ring because by the time I trans'd all the way down to Monstrosities, the items had disappeared.
I understand a little pressure, but when it's not *possible* to get your items back it kind of sucks.

well i have no problem with the glove icons, just make em a tad smaller, thought it was a body armor cause of the size! :twisted:

OK everyone! I read all the posts made, but since I have really limited internet access right now I'm not responding to each one. I've carded all the issues (notecards w/ sharpie :)) and will be fixing asap.

Ok so next update is looking GREAT~! I'm working on it constantly :)

New features include:
- Enchantment icons
- New, sweet-lookin "old skool" cursor :D
- Combat is less delayed
- Class balancing
- Movement smoothed
- bug fixes++ (i don't remember them off the top of my head, but there are a lot)

awsome, but dont remember you've got people doing 3D animation whom have made models for you which you could implement :)
Arget dagger and Barracuda katana lawl.. same look and it actually reminds me of a freaking ice fishing pole :D atm im trying to press my bro to draw me up some swords and more, but try the drawers you already have on the model forum.

well i did send out mails to alot of people, but they all think it was just a joke and that the game was like it was before... but it aint, its awsome and can really go far if you just get the right people to put some videos together and promote on youtube etc, and once the runescapers see this poo it will be a upgrade from what they have played and jesus they will storm the site.

:D Thank you for the promo vid--the more people you guys attract, the more fun this game will be! I'm totally willing to pay for an upgraded server once we get more than 20 active players.

So here's a few more things for next update:
- Fixed the bug that caused monsters to spawn en masse around players
- Monsters CAN spawn on screen--but there's a 2 second portal that opens before they appear so you have a chance to gtfo
Credit goes to an idea from my brother for this one!
- Made changing maps (going indoors, underground) not cause you to flip back and forth if you have a lot of agi
- New enchantment effect that lets me do a Divinus-like thing.

I think I posted this already, but sounds will also pan left/right according to where they come from on your screen. It's really cool :)

Still working on: expanded map with at least 2 completely new monsters and the geosid system.

found out about the knights dmg yet? got like 3 spirits swords im dying to try out,
Btw i dont like the fact that casters could use bonemail etc without any requirements and poo(but i guess its the alpha)
Anyway i liked some games equipment requirements..

like to carry this item you had to have atleast some strenght and (meaning a sorcerer could not use)
Also you could make spell daggers and wands and staves for the sorcerors, and yeh magical maces :)
