Hey all,

As the title suggests, my compy's fan bit the bucket. All of a sudden it got really loud, so I restarted and...bam, "fan error"

Getting a tech out here on Monday, but I won't be able to do any significant development till then. Or be online tonight like I was planning. :/

UGH I did so much testing to make sure the storage would work...it is so weird that this never happened to me. As soon as my computer gets up again, I'll get on it.

yea i lost gear to this, joe restored all my gear pretty much. He's awesome. It was a storage bug, if you pull gear out and log it goes poof. The only item I am missing on my fig is a helm of spite eh joe! haha =D

Get a Desktop, hehe or my laptop is a Aspireone acer which is pretty awesome.

Yeah, my gear disappears and I've done level 8-9 four times now in poo gear because it keeps disappear... I gave the game a chance now I'm outta here lol.

Dude, this isn't normal. Hang in there. Apparently you weren't around for the rough days of xen. At least Karl and Joe are restoring gear. Can you see EJ EVER doing stuff like that? lol?

I guess you're right. I'd be like level 12 now though. Pissing me off.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a rough time with the game. I'd normally never have allowed this critical of a bug to persist for more than a few hours, let alone days. Find me in-game sometime, or send me a PM when you'll be online later this week and I'll see what I can do. For now, I hope you can tolerate the problems (or maybe take a break today and come back once I fix this tonight!)

If you like, once they bugs are worked out, I'd be happy to take u around for a bit of shared exp.

Ugh. They just called and said they aren't coming until tomorrow.

This is crap, I'm going to figure out a way to work on a different machine.

Is your laptop under warranty? Or get an enclosure for a laptop hdd and pull the data to another pc. (assuming you can pop the drive out of the side)

Yeah it's under warranty, but their "next day on-site service" means Tuesday if you call on a weekend...including if you called Saturday morning. 4 days is not "next day" by a long shot. Grr.

looking forward to dell fixing your lappy! btw, if they give you any trouble, let me know. I know some ppl here at the dell main campus who could make it go a lot easier. ; )

haha thanks but I actually don't have a dell...it's a Thinkpad. For the most part, it's a super tank computer.
