Why is this getting more and more common?
I think you should make this Lounge invite only..
Like alpha testers only get to come here, cause this sh!t is getting annoying

no kidding. Karl, is there a way you can slow down new members or stop bots from signing up? A bot will create an account name and post about 15 spam-posts at a time.

I was thinking it wasn't that big of an idea.. Since we are supposedly getting a new website anyways.. right?
I'm hoping its not another phpBB, from what I'm told they are easily bypassed by bots, Well as well as I can see it.. Obviously XD

Yeah PHPBB being free and all, not all potential security problems that are found go reported since spammers want to exploit the problems not fix them. There isn't much I can do about this since the spammers have found their way around PHPBB's security anyway. I have been doing IP bans but they don't seem to help.

Well your only banning proxies, and I'm sure you have better things to do..
But I think at some time or later you should find a new format of forum..
