Use the "add image to post" button and show off cool things you've made with the map maker :)

ooh, it will take me some time to make anything impressive. I think I might enlist my brother's help.

A dungeon where you might expect to be attacked by magic users.

just a tip, if you have the map editor window in focus you can press alt+printscreen to just capture that window

My first attempt with the map editor :) its a dungeon. the tiles are set up so its kinda hard to tell whats a wall and whats floor. The monsters in here arnt necesarily good exp but there is a beam crystal which beams evil players. so its a good place if you wanna hide from pkers lol.

Hey, you see the stairs down over there that is covered? If you go into the template map and right-click on an empty area outside of the map, it will allow you to place "blank" squares over the model.

well that didnt work but I was able to use the "bottomless pit" texture on it to fix it.
I hope that wont make players fall.

cant we just put transportation flags on those two squares so players are instantly moved to the next level?

Well, I'll just put the black square down when I get my hands on the map.

the lowest level of the dungeon. A boss by the sarcophaus is appropriate.

My first screenshot was probably level 2 or 3.
I will make another level or 2 of this dungeon.

Ok I made a big dungeon. or I think its big, im not sure on the scaling + I cant get the stairs to work. cant set em out. dunno what I do wrong. Rest Ive tried worked fine, but that just didnt. and I know there is alot of empty areas, but I used quite some time on this and cant be arsed to fill it up just now.

Im thinking this can be like a sp chest thingy etc.
pics go from start to end (chest is end)

agreed, you've got some nifty ideas in there!

The new update will fix a lot of scaling, though, so I hate to tell you--some of the models might look a little wack.

k i just started a little dungeon so tell me what you think.

K so this is like the path leading to the entrance.

Image

Here is the entrance. i guess you gas in to enter.
Image

Here is the dungeon's begining. pretty much just a long boring hallway so i wont take screens of it all :P

Image

Then theres a room with a Mana pool this is primarily where the monsters will be. the room goes upward for a little while so ill skip those screens also
Image

The end is some gates. not sure how you will get over then but ill figure something out :) (on the other side are harder monsters, the gate is pretty much just to protect the noob's from getting pwned)

Image

And heres the final area after the gate.
Image

Atm it looks kinda plain. Any suggestions on what i should add?

I wouldnt worry about the dungeons looking to plain. I mean did you guys ever LOOK at warlocks? (the warlock castle northeast of Iterum.)
