Crashing my Computer

While playing evidion I play for around 2 minutes and the screen turns blue and says a lot of words that I can't read fast enough and my computer restarts.

ok i dont get the blue screen but after every update when
i am playing and log out and log back in my account freezes
i hear the sound but it eithers just keeps me on the log in screen
or has me frooze somewhere on the map. not sure what is
causing this. and not sure if ne1 else is having the same
problem or not

I've been having a freezing problem like that with this update, though I've never seen it before. It seems to freeze 2 out of my 4 characters, and when I try to log on with either one of the frozen characters (which ones are frozen changes each time it happens), the game freezes up completely (don't know if sounds are there--I usually have music playing) and I have to force-quit. Only after I've been logged on with one of the not-frozen characters for a little bit does it seem that all the characters un-freeze.

Does that sound like yours, or is yours different somehow?

So, this bug has been around for a while? It makes my computer restart all the way. It did it twice and I have not tried to log in since. :\

I get this problem on both of my chars, as soon as I try to log in, it blue screens. One is in town, and one is on the way to Monos. NVsomething.Dll error

Using:
512mb Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT GPU
3GB Ram
2.2Ghz Intel 5750 Dual Core Processor

Dunno if any of that helps or if im using a laptop has anything to do with it

This is a high-priority bug, and will be quashed ASAP. I understand that it has something to do with NVIDIA cards?

Yeah. Just google 'nv4_disp blue screen'...it's everywhere, even in commercial games. I have some ideas though.
