My computer just died

As the title suggests, my compy's fan bit the bucket. All of a sudden it got really loud, so I restarted and...bam, "fan error"

Getting a tech out here on Monday, but I won't be able to do any significant development till then. Or be online tonight like I was planning. :/

UGH I did so much testing to make sure the storage would work...it is so weird that this never happened to me. As soon as my computer gets up again, I'll get on it.

yea i lost gear to this, joe restored all my gear pretty much. He's awesome. It was a storage bug, if you pull gear out and log it goes poof. The only item I am missing on my fig is a helm of spite eh joe! haha =D

Yeah, my gear disappears and I've done level 8-9 four times now in poo gear because it keeps disappear... I gave the game a chance now I'm outta here lol.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a rough time with the game. I'd normally never have allowed this critical of a bug to persist for more than a few hours, let alone days. Find me in-game sometime, or send me a PM when you'll be online later this week and I'll see what I can do. For now, I hope you can tolerate the problems (or maybe take a break today and come back once I fix this tonight!)

Is your laptop under warranty? Or get an enclosure for a laptop hdd and pull the data to another pc. (assuming you can pop the drive out of the side)

Yeah it's under warranty, but their "next day on-site service" means Tuesday if you call on a weekend...including if you called Saturday morning. 4 days is not "next day" by a long shot. Grr.

haha thanks but I actually don't have a dell...it's a Thinkpad. For the most part, it's a super tank computer.
