Obviously we cant use EJs actual map file. but we can use those super high res xen maps in order to make the Old continent again. But to do that we will need a mapping program. Karl, what are you doing about this? Are you going to make a map editor or do you have something else in mind.
Personally, I would like if Just the first two continents were in the game, but much larger than in old xen.

The fact that everyone knows where everything is on the old continent makes recreating it pointless. I'm going to have a mapmaker of some sort, and a completely new continent will be constructed.

For nostalgia's sake can we keep some of the same town names? EJ can't copyright the latin language, so we'd be alright with that wouldn't we?

Could we use ej's old map maker to make the maps? I've been dying for SOMETHING that I can contribute, and maps are my thing. Me and my little bro are Awesome at making maps.

Well, its not real latin but all the same he cant claim that sort of thing as IP. We can use original town names, spell names, item names all we want.

I think that's still kinda shaky. We might be able to use the same town names and stuff, but I'm going to make sure it's easy to change in the code because I don't want this sort of thing being hacked down by a lawyer.

can there be a mini map (covers about 3-4 screens away) on the corner of the screen where u can see where ur group/ guild member? its easy to get lost when ur following someone
