you made my day, its always good to hear from the orriginal artist. I dont think ill be planning on making a low polly version
I wouldnt want to see what it looks like as 70 faces
EDIT: I got currious and found a easy polly reducer, with this program and a little rework a low poly version may be possible
Tell me the max amount of faces i could use and we will see what i can do

perfect, looks a lot like an impure quartz which is good kinda what I was shooting for. (quartz was said to provide protection in the mythological ages)

ok here is the low polly one at 418 pollys, i exported every part, edited the polly count, and remerged and retextured them. This is the lowest i could go i think without losing any shape of the orriginal model. I think it looks good for going from about 2400pollys to 400. Also in this one is the new silver crystal.
please give me an exact number of triangles i am allowed to have at max because even though this one cant go any lower i would like to know

looks really good. One question: is the blade actually textured? it looks like the standard grey...

I know what you mean but it is actually textured, only to the point where its shinyer and a little bit of diffrent color though.

hm, still think the blade's a little dull. Other than that, though, it looks great.

I'm just using the regular old .X viewer by Microsoft. Try 3DS, I've got a converter for that. Or blender, I can export the model...
