Texture Help!

Just a heads up everybody:

I notice that not too many people go into the modeling forum, which is why I am requesting help here! I am doing a lot of new models for Evidyon to make for a more scenic and aesthetically pleasing environment. Not to mention the part about introducing new items to the game and whatnot... anyways, yeah, I'm doing a lot of modeling but it is very hard to do with my limited texture supply!

Any help from you guys, either by submitting textures, or sketching up a quick draft for a new item would help me very much! I'll model them up just about as soon as you can get them to me. The modeling, for me, is the easiest part! It's just finding the right textures to go with this model that is really time-consuming.

So, if you want buildings, if you want actual visible models for weapons and armors rather than invisible or white "blank" weapons... help me help you!

Thanks.

I remember there are some threads with textures in the 'cartography' section. Also, didn't karl acquire shittons of more textures?

I just went ahead and made you some basic tile-able metal and chainmail textures.
However, the quality isn't really astonishing, i don't have photoshop and i'm not that familiar with paint.net which is what i'm currently using.

Hmmm, spoiler tags would come in handy. If you need anything specific just post here and i'll try my best. :J

Edit: Youknow, i think i'm just making a new thread in the model-forum, after mapping texturing is my second favorite designing job. And if you can actually use only one of ten textures i made it was still worth the fun. hehe, I'll link it here later.

There are a few of those that i can use, thank you.

And also thank you to Karl for sending me those three links. The first one was very helpful. I got a ton from that site. I also saw a few that EJ uses in Xenimus!

http://www.turbosquid.com can be your best friend.

Make an account, and go into Search -> Advanced Search... type $0 and $0, and type a keyword like "leather" or "rock" or "(any single common color; i.e. blue)" to find a bunch of real nice free textures. Don't forget to search under "Textures"

Searches of "Rock"

I have a lot of textures that were once free on Turbosquid... they're not even there anymore, but I'll get on my other comp and post all my textures sometime once I get it hooked back up.
