Main menu is coming along well Check out the preview in the attachments. Boring, but it works.

Well, I've already lost hope of this pushing what it promised (a Xenimus-like game with oldschool aspects ) so if I look at this as an entirely new game, it's a cool menu, but if I look at it as wanting an oldschool-esque game... why change it.

The menu looks different because the old menu is insane from a programming perspective. I have no earthly idea why EJ decided to make the menu that way; there is no "logged in" state, so there are multiple places where you have to put *separate* log-in menus, links to creating an account, etc. These are the shortest sequence of steps to logging into a character from a fresh install on the old menu, assuming you know what to do:

• go to "Account"
• type a password
• hit "create account"
• click on "back"
• go to "create character"
• retype password
• hit login
• (do the create character thing)
• go back to main menu
• enter account
• click character
• hit enter world

These are the steps for this menu:

• click on "create account"
• type password
• press "create"
• push "enter account"
• retype password
• login
• push "create character and enter world"

Oh and if you're worried, it's not finalized at all. I'm going to be sprucing it up soon to make it look better, and I'm definitely changing how things are laid out. It's just the login style that changes.
