Version 2.7: Storage Merchant (fixed)

All of your characters share the same storage. Please be kind to it right now, it might overrun if you try to store too many things. I wanted to get this update out there, though ;)

(this update will be available as soon as I can restart the server, in the next few minutes)

- TO BIND KEYS, hold the right (alternate) mouse button, then CLICK on a spell, consumable item or button in the menu
- there is no way to change view mode right now (fix coming)
- the storage menu doesn't have a close button or any labels (just press escape to close it; yes, this will be fixed.)

Odd behaviour:

I ran the launcher ; it downloaded the files ; it told me my client was out of date and to go download it myself.
When I ran the program a second time, this was fixed.

That was because the server was running the old version :) I was in the middle of updating and had to run to class, so you caught it right before I upgraded to the new version.

I only defined levels up to 25, so you are now beyond the highest level in the game :)

i have played it and it is really good.

ok i was online playing and the server went down
when i tried to log back on it said that my acct didn't
exsist whats going on here

anyway, arent you gonna do something with the imba dmg of the dogs and scorpions? feel like im being harassed and overpowered by snoopy :x

Mages will have a tough time with the hounds. The silver scorpions are also particularly tough. I'll look into seeing if they're too hard though.

Yes...I know that, and you've posted in 4 different places about it, and this is my third reply. I had to reset the accounts back to yesterday afternoon because of a bug. If you made an account after that time, it was erased and there's not a whole lot that I can do about it. If your account existed *before* that time, then we might have a problem. Send me your account information (number and characters) and I can look into it.

I know that Int doesn't do anything yet (or does it now, Karl?), but I'm pretty sure Defense makes a difference--how much of one, on the other hand ...

All these things will come with time.

Defense makes a difference at this point, but not much. I just used a really basic equation as a stand-in.

Next update you will see physical defense making much more of an impact, and I am going to raise the defense values on armor. The equation gives me a pretty good range of values to play with, so armor can be more differentiated. Since there are no magic monsters yet, you will only be able to tell what magic armor does when fighting each other :P

This is why we need a confirm delete ...

But, Marz, if I remember correctly, it's not very easy for Karl to dig through and restore a character. So maybe it's time for you to level a sorcerer instead. :P
I'll even give you any gear you need to start you off!

Think ill try a Sorcerer, putesco or whatever seems pretty brilliant:)

It's very nice.

A couple things to look out for: Sorcerers have *very* little HP--you'll want to put a lot of points into Con; Putesco costs 50 MP per cast, so you'll also need a very high wisdom. Int doesn't do anything at the moment but you might want to put a few points there in anticipation of its implementation.
