Caster classes seem to be really feniky (sp?) with killing things... I tried to start a wizard and I got irritated with the whole casting spell process...

I would play TD but for some reason.. it doesn't work anymore... the screen will go black like its getting ready to load the beginning credits... and then it returns to the desktop..

FP is wicked fun. I'm level 27 1/2, but I don't have the time or energy to get to 30.

I think he should have ditched the whole spell targetting thing and just made the spell shoot out towards the crosshairs. It would have made it more like a real FPS, as well as faster-paced.

I agree, I always thought spell targeting was kinda dumb...but then again, it does make the networking code a LOT easier (that's probably what he was going for)

Is the code easier because the spell is supposed to be guaranteed to hit? What if it hits a tree or hill?

For the spell shooting out like a bullet, he could take a look at code from Quake 2, since it's been released. It's probably loads better than his code...
