New installer should work on Vista. If you get the "d3dx9.dll not found" error (or any other kind of D3D error on startup) then run the shortcut in the installation folder.

Those of you who have already downloaded, replace "c:\Program Files\Evidyon\evidyon.exe" with this file to make your debug logs a LOT smaller and increase the speed of your game:

This installer worked for me, but now i am getting a "Failed to initialize; check debug log for more info." when i run the exe. Dont see a debug log anywhere though.

When I replace Evidyon.exe with the new file and run it, everything is fine. However, when I select a character and log in, my PC immediately crashes and restarts. I am running Windows XP 64-bit edition. Re-installing the original version has fixed the log-in-crash problem.

Hmm....both these issues are really bizarre.

As far as the failed to initialize error goes, there has to be a debug log for that error to show up. Try running it again to see if one appears?

The cabinet error: I'll try changing a few things and recompiling. Give me 1/2 an hour to upload it.
