can't talk to bots. I normally delete these--they pop up about 1 every two or three days--but this one I'm going to leave for one reason: to ask a question.

Karl--could we institute some kind of Bayesian spam filter on the board posts?
Or is there some other way that we could stop these things from getting in?

we could, but I don't really have the time to figure out how to code it. Also, there's already a system in place to prevent them from registering in the first place, although I could turn on the option requiring a confirmation email.

Do confirmation by email, people are having trouble registering because of the anti-bot thing.
