getting back on after exitting

alright so I just downloaded the latest download, and I was able to get on and make a new guy, then I walked(laggely) down and left and got killed, then spawned with somone telling me it was laggy, then i went up right and got pked (woot fun!) and then the game crashed and I cant get back on, it will get to the login screen, i put my correct acc # in and password and it doesnt work, it just sits on the screen when i press "enter world".

also when i try to make a new account it does nothing also it just sits there.

Karl has been putting the servers up and down. to fix things quickly. just keep trying again every minute or two. Gonna have to deal with it for a little bit =]

edit: are other people on? cause Somone was posting about a walking lag so im assuming there on the server, I still cant get on.

re-re-edit(last for tonight):on reviewing my oldest log file (the one from when I actualy got to play) it seems the program crashed w/o logging my char off, so in theory my char is still on, so I cant log on my account, and am "Locked out" permanitaly w/o and auto log function.

You should auto-log out of your account after about 30 seconds. I had trouble getting into one of my accounts yesterday, too--so I'll make a note to look into it. Unless it keeps happening it's low priority though because I think it's mostly caused by me restarting the servers so often.
