Strength = increases amount of dmg you inflict upon any foe, also lets you wear certain plated armors which require strength to be carried.
Agility = increases the speed of your character, at like 30 agility ones whirlwind would be upgraded in speed and you could do them faster(needed for pvp)
also could be the source of attack power for a ranger type class, like rogue, thief, ranger, assassin.
Constitution = increases the amount of health points the character has, should be a bonus when you hit 21 constitution like on Xenimus.
Intellect = increases the amount of dmg you can deal with spells, also should allow something special like opening an encrypted door to a dungeon or something later on similar to the read skill on Xen so you would need a Sorceror or something like that with you for that.
Wisdom = increases the amount of magic energy the character has.
Here are some small ideas i had for another game i was trying to develop but grew bored with, hoping you can steal some of the basic spell names and character visions i had.
Knight: a heavy armoured class can wear swords and blunt weapons and wear shields and has minor magic energy.
Learns Storm step a fast attack which intercepts the target and stuns them for 1 second.
Also learns Whirlwind which is when the Knight swings his weapon in a circular movement to attack all nearby enemies.
Warrior: a Heavy armoured class which focuses on body strength more than mental strength
Learns whirlwind minor strength buffs and can wear any kind of armour and weapon, learns Stormstep, has a Rage pool rather than a mana pool.
Monk: Martial arts blunt weapons and fist weapons and have huge varieties of self-defence buffs, learns: Lightning step a series of fast moves which is unnoticeable by the naked eye.
Mage: spell casters, Learns fireballs, frost spikes, beams and buffs uses staffs and wands, swords, daggers not for fighting but to improve magical abilities. Learns teleport which transports the caster to another location.
Blood dancer: A Melee/summoner hybrid which Incarnates hordes of Flesh demons through the body of his slain victims, uses Maces, swords and can enhance the abilities of his flesh demons and can cast blood diseases upon his enemies. Learns Blood foot, the Blood dancer runs faster not even caring that he is pressing himself to his limit.
Necromancer: A spell caster/summoner hybrid which uses Black magic to reincarnate the fallen in skeletal form through the bodies of his victims, skeletons improve with talents. Casts harmful spells and curses. Learns Bone prison Bone Armor etc.
Druid: Natural spell casters able to dominate the mind of animals, use Maces, staffs and The powers of nature Lightning, Tree spikes etc, can also heal, can be set up by skills to be a hybrid between melee and spell caster can also change form to bears, wolfs etc. can dash in wolf form.
Rangers: able to cloak themselves near Firm objects like stones, walls, bushes, trees but the cloaking disappears once he uses spells or is hurt.
Mainly use bow???s for hunting but can also use Rapiers and daggers and hits fast and causes critical hits because of his huge agility pool.
Learns Sprint.
I don't think you should just get a simply get a bonus of anything from a stat just from gaining it, I think you should have to go through a bad bum dungeon for it to even count. (like shrines in Xen)
I think a Knight and a warrior should be built into the same char, you just build him from the ground, up and at some point you are classified as this certain "kind of fighter"
I like the thought of a blood dancer, and it sounds like he would be a cannibal lol (perfect for PKing ^^), which would be AWESOME
to eat the other person after you PKed them OMG (so far passed epic)
Necro's? Been playing a little to much D2 have we? lol, #### Necro's! lol
