Nope. Add encryption, then we'll talk.

*Fanfare!* The Born to Rule Client!!

Okay, I need your opinion on this. Should we release the client as-is for download? Should we let just our friends test it out?

There is no character animation and you can't see your own player. An even bigger issue is that none of the resources are encrypted.

encryption's a big deal, but I'd worry about fixing it up so that the animations work and it's in 3rd person...also, that list of things I asked for at the meeting. I think a wall and strafing were the other ones...

I just think that having all that would make it a more complete and worthwhile demo.

ok, now it works. it's really slow, and some of the textures (the ground) don't load correctly. Movement is a crawl, and talk didn't show up (I think that's just because I got impatient and quit, though). Music works fine.

So it works! Hallelujah!

The problems need to be worked out, but this is a huge step! :D

YAY for slowness!!!!!

Don't worry, I think I can fix the slowness. We may need to cut down on some graphical stuff; I'll see what I can do about optimization.

Right now I'm working on a map format because I think that's what we need next. I'll be finishing up this demo probably by/at the next meeting, but I've been beating my head against it for so long that I need a refresher.
