Stats bonuses and suggestions

Postby marzuku » Tue Mar 10, 2009 3:24 am

my current stats are:
19 con
25 int
21 wis

and i thought 25 int was alot of pluss dmg or atleast would make a troll fall in one-two putesco, but the trolls still take 3 putesco and the dogs and scorpions take 2(btw the maze with scorpions and dogs was awsome, but dogs could be a little darker and less lassie a like, and yes i know i say everything should be darker :) )

So i was just opening up this post to see what the public felt about 18 int doing 3 putesco on trolls while 25 int should do what, two, one putesco?

Basic idea is to open up your heads for the amount of magic attackpower and physical attack power Str/int should increase.

F. ex a Warrior has 18 str and does like 100 dmg a hit and then by adding strength to his stat his dmg increases about what 25 dmg? less or more? and if agility could trigger critical hits then wisdom could trigger a spellcasters critical?

and a Sorceror does 140 dmg per putesco troll has like 300hp By every intel the sorceror adds he gets 35-40 pluss dmg so
(for those who wonder of course sorcerors have more dmg, but they also have less health than a knight so its balanced that way.)

Karl told me to fire off some ignis multi on him and he told me i did 1000 dmg after two ignis multi's

do monsters have above 1000 hp etc? why not lower them down to our set of health points? 300 health points this will make the numbers alot easier and alot less.
f. ex and a putesco does about 100 with 18 intel and 25 more dmg for each intel point you've got?
every spellcaster will fill his int cons and wis to 18, and every knight will fill his agility str and cons the same way.

And we could add races like on xen who all wouldent be able to fill stats up on certain spots.

Just some thoughts :D

Test out damage now.

Monsters have HP calculated by the level at which they should be killed. It's kinda complicated, but I don't actually assign the HP myself. I'll have it generate a table though and take a look at them.

BTW, monsters have different levels of magic resistance, too.

yeah magic resistance, like Adepts and humanoid mage monsters should have some resistance to some of the magics depending on what source the worshipped like "fire magic" "ice magic" etc.. and this could be coded by their suits and would make people have to change spells sometimes when in a adept hall with different types of worshippers.
