Fixed Models

Postby Karl G. » Sun Jan 07, 2007 4:22 pm

I fixed a bunch of the models that were bugging me...for example, the gray spiky stone wall. I also added a bunch of new floor tiles. I'll be uploading later this week.

There are going to be a LOT of changes in this update. I'm adding house walls right now, and a new way to control the models. Also, the movement system has been fixed a bit and there are a few optimizations, and more models!

Plus, many models are now standardized (in their correct size/location)

great! I've been holding out for the update before I really try anything--I'm having too much trouble with the model sizes right now...

speaking of models, I tried my hand for the first time in a long time at Wings3d last night. I'm not a great modeler, but I'm hoping to teach myself enough to make weapons, &c. Unfortunately, I don't have photoshop, so unless you want paint-textured models, I'll have to get my hands on a copy or send my models to others to texture...

something I want for the new update:
the port thingy mark. need it for my prop shrine + some town stuff.
Im also having big problems adding some stuff that goes over one "block", like the stonewall, and the woodtable.
So you get your lazy bum up :D and add me some sweeeeet models, maybe a Throne, the ability to place small items ontop of
tables etc. Some of those and Ill make something that will look like t3 castle. but im still not sure on how big these things have to be
