I have a couple dungeons drawn up on paper with some generic storylines for each of them. The one involves the lair of a scallion warlord with a fetish for killing gnomes, and its got a few puzzles to get past his security. I probably won't start working on my maps until I get something accomplished with 3D modeling and sound effects though.
Can someone reference the map for me please. We should start by selecting a portion of the map as to where the starting town will be and assign people to work on that.
Yeah you guys don't even have to use the map I drew, I just made something to give people ideas. This is really where the community can go wild making all kinds of creative awesome stuff
Just remember that things that are above-ground will get put into the game much sooner than below-ground, as they will be easier to include and more relavent to the first players.
if you want to make the dungeon go for it, if not, leave it for someone else, just make sure you note that you didn't create the dungeon along with it (although be sure to make an entrance)

also I forgot to mention scale, each unit (A1, B2, G4, etc) is 100x100
so an entire section should be 300x300, which i think karl said was the max map size in the map maker

So as to keep things organized I've created a topic titled Starting Continent where we can post all relevant material and map assignments for the starting continent. I didn't notice we already had a topic going for assignments (my apologies) but I slightly modified Thad's map for balancing purposes, so check that out and let's get things rollin'
